Helpful Guide to Getting a Printable Bill of Sale

Everywhere you look nowadays, it seems like people are exchanging goods and services with one another.

Whether it’s for a little bit of home cooking or a free haircut, there are many reasons why someone may need to give something up in order to get something in return.

Unfortunately, these transactions often happen on the fly.

Oftentimes, one party will want to memorialize the transaction but won’t have any paperwork handy. That’s where a printable Bill of Sale comes in handy!

The following article will explore everything you need to know about a printable Bill of Sale and how to create your own at home with just a few minutes and some basic supplies.

In order to start writing a Bill of Sale, you’ll need a few things.

  • A blank sheet of paper.
  • A pen.
  • The item you want to sell.

NOTES! It’s always a good idea to have the person receiving the item come over to your house or meet at a mutual location like your local Starbucks so that you can hand it over in person and make sure they have what they promised too!

Now, as for actually writing the Bill of Sale, it’s important to note that there are many different types of bills that you can write depending on your needs.

For instance, if you’re just selling something to someone on Craigslist or Ebay, then you’ll want an “As Is” Bill. Here’s an example:

“Vehicle Bill of Sale”

I, _______________________ (buyer), hereby sell to I, ______________________ (seller), the following vehicle:

1. Make: __________________________.

2. Model: _________________________________.

3. License Plate #: ______________________________________.

4. VIN #: _______________________________.

Boat Printable Bill of Sale

A boat is a kind of ship that is smaller as compared to other ships, and it usually requires the use of a vessel such as sail or oars for propulsion.

Boating is one interesting thing which has attracted many people from all over the world. From those who have had an interest in boating since their childhood to those who might be interested in boating but haven’t yet tried it out, they are all drawn to this activity.

Boating is a great hobby to have.

There are so many different types of boats you can take out onto the water. If you go boating in the woods, use a map and compass to avoid getting lost.

Fishing is one of my favorite hobbies. It can be done in fresh water or salt water. Waterskiing is also a fun activity that is done on the water, but requires speedboats or whalers to do it well.

However, for someone who’s looking to go boating right now, there are several things that need to be taken into consideration prior to doing so. One of these considerations would have to be the Bill of Sale.

In states like New Jersey and Pennsylvania, you’ll often come across people who grew up in the country and learned to work with livestock.

Some might accuse these folks of being hicks, but they do bring a lot to the table.

For instance, they are often very good at cooking from scratch and know how to spot a good opportunity when it comes around.

Even though these are things that some might consider “old-fashioned”, they’re still appreciated by many people, especially those seeking home-style living or an authentic experience.

“The best part about growing up around farm life is the different skills that you learn.”

A boat printable bill of sale can mimic an auto bill of sale with a few exclusions.

A bill of sale is a written record of the transfer of ownership and title to a boat or other watercraft.

The following is an example of a boat bill of sale:

This Agreement made this day, 20__ by and between (Buyer) (Seller). In consideration for the sum of $________, Seller hereby sells and transfers the following described vessel(s) to Buyer:

Whether you’re looking for a printable bill of sale for an auto or boat, you have options. I hope you found this article helpful along with some of the templates we shared above.

How it works?

Use a template, type it in a Google Docs document, fill it out and print. It’s not a bad idea to have it reviewed by a third party either to make sure you and buyer/seller are both covered.
