If you want to learn how to write blog posts with Jasper AI, this is for you!
I learned about Jasper AI several months ago. I kept hearing it was an AI tool that could help you spit out thousands of words of good content for your blog and business. So, I gave it a test drive and months later, I’m still using it.
This is what you want to know about Jasper AI including if it’s really worth the price and if I recommend it.
Let’s get to it!
What’s Jasper AI?
Jasper AI (formerly Jarvis AI), a startup focused on artificial intelligence, has just announced that it has raised $5 million in seed funding. The company plans to use the money to develop its products and expand its sales and marketing efforts.
Jasper AI was founded in 2016 by two MIT graduates, Benji Spector and Jeremy Howard. The company’s goal is to make artificial intelligence more accessible to businesses and individuals.
“We want to make AI as easy to use as possible,” Spector said in a statement. “This funding will help us continue developing our platform and expanding our team so that we can bring the benefits of AI to as many people as possible.”
The company’s first product is Jasper AI Studio, a platform that allows businesses to create chatbots and virtual assistants. Jarvis AI Studio is currently priced at $40 per month.
The chatbot platform also features a free plan with limited functionality.
Using Jasper AI, companies can integrate third-party services such as Microsoft Office 365, Salesforce and Zendesk to create virtual assistants for internal use or customer support chatbots that interact with end users on websites and social media channels.
The company claims that its platform has been used by several large organizations including the United Nations (UN), and more than 350 businesses and entrepreneurs have signed up for a paid subscription before the end of their free trial period.
“Businesses are quickly realizing that they need to embrace AI in order to stay competitive,” – said Howard, co-founder and CEO of Jarvis AI.
“This funding will help us continue developing our platform and expanding our sales and marketing efforts so that we can make AI available to as many businesses as possible.”
In addition to the $5 million in seed funding, the company has also announced that it has closed a $10 million Series A round led by Nexus Venture Partners. Other investors in the round include Liquid 2 Ventures, Amplify Partners, Pre Angel and several unnamed angel investors.
The company plans to use the new capital to expand its product development efforts, including the development of products and features for Jarvis AI Studio.

Pros and Cons of Jasper AI
Here’s a line up of the pros and cons…
Pros of Jasper AI
- Affordable
- Time-saving
- Money-saving
Cons of Jasper AI
- Some of the outputs are clunky
- It’s not a 100% substitute for writing
Ok, so first the benefits of using this AI tool.
First, it’s affordable. They recently slashed their price in half. I was paying over $100/month for months and recently they cut their price down for Boss Mode to $59/month which is wallet-friendly for a lot of people I think.
It’s time-saving because you can create your copy 5X faster than if you wrote it alone.
It’s like a shortcut in your writing. And, it saves you money. Saving your time is saving you money plus, you don’t have to hire freelance writers when you have Jasper AI.
Just give it the commands you want and it starts writing on autopilot!
The drawbacks include some clunky outputs. It’s not perfect. And, I won’t claim it to be. Sometimes it repeats the same phrases over and over. You can select the command in the navigation bar to erase the last output if this happens and it’ll give you an alternative but, it happens enough for it to be mentioned.
This is a newer tool and I think over time, they’ll work out these clinks and it’ll be more seamless. Even with this though, it’s still worth trying, in my opinion.
It’s not a substitute for writing. It will save you time but it doesn’t do 100% of the work for you. You’ll still need to do keyword research, writing an outline will help, and then edits and minor tweaks at the end to make it to your liking.
Is Jasper AI worth it?
100% yes.
The pros outweigh the cons. And it makes sense to invest in this AI writing tool.
Imagine spending an hour writing a long-form 5,000-word blog post. And then ranking it in Google, getting hordes of traffic and making money from that blog post.
That can happen with Jasper AI.
You can also use this if you’re a freelance writer, to churn out a lot of content that you can tweak to your writing style and voice.
It’s so affordable too. You can’t say no to $59/month for Boss Mode. There’s no contract so cancel whenever you want with no penalty.

BONUS Tools I Recommend for Blogging
These are some of my favorite tools that I use and recommend. Check them out if you’d like…
ConvertKit
This is for email marketing. You can use Convertkit to collect email subscribers for your newsletter. It’s great for sales funnel building, running email courses, and more. Email marketing is one of the most effective ways to market.
You can create email sequences that run in the background on autopilot, making you money 24/7. They have a free trial to test drive their email marketing tools. You will love it, trust me!

Evernote
This is for note-taking. I use the free version and it helps me jot down notes that come to mind when I’m on the go. Specifically, if inspiration for a blog post hits me, I open up Evernote app on my device and can jot down what I’m thinking.
You can take Evernote everywhere you go. Their app is available on desktop, laptop, mobile and tablet. So whatever device you’re on, you can access your notes.
Market Muse
This tool is such a game changer. It helps you rank your blog posts.
You can put your keyword in Market Muse and it’ll give the keyword a score. Then paste your blog post draft into the tool and it’ll tell you your score. So if the keyword score for ranking is 40 and you’re at a 30 for your draft then you know your post needs some work to improve your chances of ranking.
To rank, it’ll give you a long list of keywords to insert in your post to boost your chances of ranking. It’ll also tell you the target length of your blog post and other helpful info. I just started using this and absolutely love it! There’s a free and paid version.
