5 Ways How to Make $1,500 a Week
$1,500 a week or $6K a month can happen in many ways. You can work an online or offline job, with or without skills or a degree. There are plenty of options here.
Before getting into it, here are our quick earners we want to share real quick:
- Cliqly: Get paid to send emails. They have a referral program too. Some Cliqly users have reported making up to $2,500 within the first 2 weeks of starting. I made nearly $600 in my first two weeks. Here’s my Cliqly review.
- Swagbucks: Share your opinion for cash. You can also play games, watch videos, listen to music and perform other tasks for money.
- Arrived Homes: Invest in rental properties with as little as $100. Perfect if you’ve wanted to diversify your investments without having to support an entire mortgage on a rental property. You can get into fractional shares. Read our Arrived review.
Let’s get into the list.
1. Freelance writing
Freelance writing is just one example of freelance work. You could do freelance graphic design, freelance software development, freelance transcription, etc.
Freelancing works for a lot of people. You have to have job skills for this to work. So, if you work a full-time job, you can likely do freelancing. Just do what you do in your day job, on the side on a freelance basis.
Simple.
Freelancing is cool because it’s:
- Job-based, project-based or task-based work
- There’s unlimited income potential
- You have a lot of autonomy and work freedom
- You can choose who your clients are and what rates you charge
Where to find freelance jobs?
Join freelance job boards or freelance sites, like:
- Upwork
- Fiverr
- Guru
You can also check social media sites, classified sites, and remote job boards like WeWorkRemotely, Remote.co, and others.
Income potential: Charge at least $1,000 to $2,000 per month per client. At $1,000 each, you’ll need 6 clients per month or 3 clients per month at $2,000/month rate.
2. Blogging
Blogging is a little bit of an odd ball. I do it and I’ve been doing it for almost a decade now and absolutely love it. I make a full-time income from blogging too, but, not every blogger does.
It boils down to many factors and shockingly, only 5% of bloggers earn money, believe it or not.
But, if you’re successful, you can make a very lucrative living. So much so that you’ll probably leave your day job for the blogging world.
Michelle Schroeder and Adam Enfroy have earned up to $100K+ per month, blogging.
New bloggers have reported earning $2K to $6K per month within a few months of starting.
This is about writing around a topic you’re passionate about and attracting an audience online. With that audience and web traffic, you can make money with:
- Display ads
- Selling products and services
- Brand deals and,
- Affiliate marketing
I encourage you to try blogging but, on the side. I wouldn’t count this income until you’re about 3 to 6 months in so, this will be truly a passion project but, this is a solopreneur gig that you can do whenever you want.
Blog on weekends, blog after work, you create your dream schedule with this. So, it’s easy to fit in blogging around your current schedule.
Income potential: Full-time bloggers earn around up to $60K to $80K per year.
3. TikTok Content Creator
TikTok is the hot, new kid on the block in the social media world. It’s a lot easier to attract an audience and grow your followers on this newer social network, compared to say, YouTube or Instagram.
Pick a niche, create TikTok videos, and monetize your channel:
- Refer products as an affiliate on TikTok Shop
- Sell products on TikTok Shop
- Participate in one of the many creator programs TikTok offers like Work with Artists, TikTok Creativity Beta, etc.
- Sell services
- Do sponsorships and brand deals
- Affiliate marketing
And, you don’t even have to show your face! My two primary TikTok channel (one is millennialnextdoor) are faceless and I have around 100K followers on each account and make money on TikTok faceless!

Income potential: Top TikTokers make up to $40K per month. It’s no unusual to go viral at any moment and make up to $10K to $20K, as a result, or more!
4. Social Media Manager
If you enjoy playing on social media, why not do the same for clients and get paid for it! Manage social media accounts, grow accounts, engage with users, these are all tasks you’ll do as an SMM.
I have personally done SMM work for years. It was fun and fruitful.
Find clients the same way you would with freelancing:
- Job boards
- Remote job boards
- Social media
- Classified sites
Income potential: Charge $1,500/month per client and you just need 4 clients/month to hit $1,500/week in income.
5. Digital product creator
Create and sell digital products like ebooks, courses, templates, etc. First, pick a niche, like gardening, movies, finance, food, etc. Next, create a product that solves a problem. For finance, that might be a budgeting template that helps families budget their expenses. Next, sell your product.
I love using the Gumroad platform because they handle payment collection and billing, distribution, and they pay you!
It’s free to signup to Gumroad. They take a percentage of your sale.
Income potential: To make $1,500 a week, create a mid-priced product at $100 and sell 15 of these a week to hit your $1,500 a week goal. Or, sell a high-ticket product at $1,000 and make 6 sales a month.
