This woman makes $70,000 per year selling pictures of her feet.
These videos started swirling around my Tik Tok feed and it was very interesting to me.
You snap a few photos of your feet, pop them up on the internet and make money?
And these people were making a nice amount of money.
So, I decided to try it out in a case study.
Spoiler alert: I failed.
Here’s how it went…
Getting started selling feet pics
Do you want to sell feet pictures?
This is my true story of how I started. It was a case study and I am totally transparent here.
What websites did I join?
- Instagram feet account
- Feet Twitter
- Tik Tok feet account
I started on social media.
I created an Instagram feet account, Twitter, and Tik Tok feet account and posted a few pics. I also created a separate email account that I’d use for my feet pic business and social media accounts.
I wanted to get a sense of if these sites were legit or if they felt scammy.
I joined one or two.
OnlyFans was next. I created an OnlyFans account and posted a few pics.
After everything was setup, I would interact with the accounts daily, follow related accounts, chat with people, leave comments, etc.
If you do this yourself, some of the social networks aren’t fond of this kind of content so make sure you don’t get your account banned.
Twitter seems to be pretty friendly to this topic. I found a lot of accounts and posts on “feet pics Twitter.”
I also discover findom (financial domination), which is when the submissive pays the dominant money. There is more to it but I’ll leave it there.
Never dabbled in it but found that it crossed paths with feet pic selling.
How The Case Study Went
Within two days I had a few people reach out and ask for exclusive feet pics.
If you are thinking about how to sell feet pictures and wonder how quickly things will take off, for me it happened really fast.
I was offered an allowance, money up front, a fancy cell phone, and more. Oner person offered $2,000 per week and the other offered $1,200 per week on top of some of the gifts highlighted above.
At that point, I gushed to my best friend on the phone about all this and she was in total disbelief.

Optimizing your title
When it comes to selling foot pictures, the title and description can take you far. You want to choose the best words to describe your content. Think about what foot pic buyers might be searching for and use those words in your title and description.
These are called keywords and keywords can help your buyers find your content. You can use keywords, it helps more people reach your profile and see your content.
Uniqueness is the name of the game with selling feet pictures. Think about how you can stand out and be different in the sea of foot models on Feetfinder.
Eye-catching and unique content can attract buyers who are looking for something they haven’t seen or don’t see often.
Setting your price reasonably
Setting the right price is super important. The quality of your content should be reflected in your price. Things like good lighting and using a high quality camera can help you fetch a higher price. The bottom line is if you want to price your content at top dollar, you want to make sure the quality matches.
Communication is everything
On Feetfinder, it’s important to be responsive, courteous, respectful and polite. Remember, you are relationship-building on the platform and communication can speak volumes.
You want to understand buyers’ needs and be able to establish a long-term relationship. Communication is the key to that.
Customize your content
Custom content is not an unusual request on feet-selling platforms. Clients want to know they are talking to a real person so requesting a custom piece of content may be asked. Prepare yourself for this but, it happens. And, if you’re open to this, it can help increase sales.

Signing up to join Feetify is easy and free.
They encourage high quality photos to be uploaded and premium models earn as much as five figures on Feetify. The platform has over 3,000 models and nearly 200,000 active members.
My Feetify review?
It’s a top site in this industry to join. It’s great that it’s free and barrier to entry is low. If you’re a beginner starting out selling feet images, you might consider Feetify as one of the first sites you join.
Instagram is one of the places I used in my case study to sell feet pictures.
It’s incredibly easy to use and with a handful of pics on my account I quickly amassed around a dozen or so followers within days. With Instagram, like other social networks, it’s all about consistency.
That means being on the app regularly, posting often and interacting with fans.
Twitter is an unlikely place to sell feet pics. Or so you’d think.
Get on feet Twitter and you’ll be home to feet models and feet lover potential clients that will befriend you and want to connect. It’s probably the top recommended social platform I’d use to sell feet pictures.
You can get away with a lot more on Twitter and Instagram than other platforms. They are friendly to feet models and so this is a good place to go to start selling feet pics.
How it works?
I’d recommend creating a separate profile for your feet pics business. Then, start getting active. Interact with others, tweet, join the conversation and watch your followers grow (and your paycheck hopefully)!
Instafeet connect feet lovers with feet models. The process of joining Instafeet and selling feet pics is really easy.
- Create your profile
- Post content
- Set a price
Creating your profile is simple. You just set up your account. You’ll need to show a valid ID in order to get approved and note that everyone does not get approved to join Instafeet.
Next, post your content. Instafeet recommends you start by adding at least 5 photos but the more, the better.
Setting your price is the fun part. Most users pay $10/month which means 10 users will be $100/month for you. Instafeet recommends setting a lower price and getting a higher volume of people paying for the subscription than the opposite.
From here you’ll get your own unique link and then for added exposure, you can share your link and profile on social media.
How to take a picture of your foot?
You can take feet pics yourself or have a friend take them for you.
I did both!
First, I took my cell phone camera and snapped a picture of my foot pretty easily. The sole pics were impossible to take pics of so I had someone take sole feet pictures for me.
You don’t need special equipment. The modern cell phones most people have are usually good enough to take high quality photos.
Just like if you take selfies or photos of yourself, consider things like good lighting, angle, and pose because you want your feet pictures to be the best possible so you can get potential clients. Take care in this craft. It can reward you handsomely.
What are potential clients looking for in feet content?
Wondering what kind of content clients want?
What are buyers looking for?
What do buyers really want?
Honestly, everybody is different.
I don’t think I particularly have pretty feet, even with a pedicure though a pedi does help. Some feet buyers like ugly feet, beautiful feet, etc.
Some buyers like soft-looking soles of feet or nailpolishing toes, high heels, and other fetishes. It just depends.
Think about if you’re open to try everything or if you’ll stick to only one niche.
Is it worth it to sell feet pictures for extra money?
To some people, yes.
The truth is, selling feet images can be very good money. I’ve seen a bunch of social media influencers talk about making tens of thousands of dollars without showing their face, just selling feet pics.
It’s like being a model and if you’re not down with the industry and want to be anonymous, it might be difficult for friends and family to identify your foot online if they happen to stumble upon feet content on a site you’re on.
Common questions about selling foot pics
Youre looking online and reading info about selling feet pictures, scouring Feetfinder reviews, and looking at other reviews and online reports about this industry. Here are some of the most common questions people have about selling foot pics.
1. Is selling feet pictures really as lucrative as people make it out to be?
Selling feet pictures can definitely be super lucrative.
Everyone’s experience is different though, so you don’t want to judge the success of someone else against how your experience your performance might be.
Some people make a lot of money with your foot pics and others don’t.
But if you’re interested in a fun moneymaking side hustle, selling your feet pics might be something to pursue.
Examples of how much money people make selling foot photos:
2. Do you have to pay taxes if you sell feet pics?
Yes. Check with a tax professional to learn the details of how this works and the minimum of how much you should make to add your feet pic income to your taxes.
3. Is taking care of your feet required?
Taking care of your feet for the purpose of selling foot pics are not a requirement however, keep in mind that many feet pics sites will be looking for models with pretty and cared for feet.
With that said, the feet picmarket is pretty broad and there may be niches you can enter into where cared for and manicured feet are not necessarily the income earners.
So just bear in mind that this isn’t a hard requirement and if caring for your feet is something you’re not wanting to do, you may need to do a bit of research to find good places that can accommodate you.
How to sell feet pics without getting scammed?
anytime you’re looking at making money online, there is a potential to get scammed. Here are some best practices to avoid getting scammed when you’re selling your feet pics.
Choose a secure payment method
When picking your payment method, you wanna make sure that it’s secure. You have the power to pick the payment methods or payment gateways that you wanna work with whether it’s Cash App, PayPal, Venmo or another way to receive money. You make the rules.
Only work with legitimate websites
As you’re doing your research on selling feet pics, you may come across reading feetfinder reviews, Instafeet reviews, and reviews for other feet pics selling sites. As a rule of thumb, you want to work with reputable websites only. Do your due diligence here.
Do not share your personal details like your address, social security number and other sensitive information. This isn’t needed by the buyer to purchase feet pics from you. Sharing this info is not recommended as it can open you up to having your personal information stolen by scam artists.
Open a separate account for your feet pic business
Consider opening a separate account for your feet pic business.
This will include things like opening a separate email address, a separate bank account, etc.
Think of this like a business. Do you want to avoid mixing your personal income with your business income so opening separate accounts for this feet pic ventures out you’ll be embarking on is a smart idea.
Why I ended the case study early
Less than a week after starting, I pulled the plug and selling foot pictures.
I’m a scaredy cat and it felt all too real.
Plus, even as a case study, you have got to be very careful. Lots of scams exist, you want to be safe and be aware of your privacy.
Also, if you think about it, why do people want feet pics? It’s a fetish or an admiration, right?
Bottom line, it’s sex work, isn’t it?
Some look at it as art but, I guess it all boils down to your perspective.
It can feel harmless but partaking in this kind of gig means you’ll be a sex worker even though you’re just selling feet images.
That’s totally fine, no judgement here but…calling myself a sex worker just rubs me the wrong way, even if I’m doing it for a limited amount of time for research, an experiment, case study, etc.
I got dangerously close to the feet pictures industry and I learned a lot. If you’re thinking about venturing into this business, do your research. Read Feetfinder reviews, Feetify reviews, read what people are really experiencing and decide if its worth it. For many people it is, for others, maybe not.
What do you think?
Would you ever sell pics of your feet for extra money? Why or why not?
