There are tons of apps to sell clothes online. Selling clothes is a great way to clean out your closet while making some extra cash on the side.

I used to do this twice a year, believe it or not. Usually in the springtime and of course during winter, to raise some money for holiday shopping. It was so easy I did it every year effortlessly. I still do it today but less so since I go clothes shopping way less, work from home, and take really good care of my clothes so it lasts forever.

Ebay is an easy place to sell your clothes.

Get the app on your phone, register or sign in, snap some pics of your stuff and post on the Ebay app.

Ebay is an online marketplace. There are tons of sellers selling their clothes so you’ll have competition but your stuff is unique. Price it competitively and wait for a sale to happen!

2. Facebook Marketplace

Facebook Marketplace is part of Facebook. Get the Facebook app then just navigate to the marketplace. This is good for selling in person or online. In person you just find someone in your area that wants to buy your stuff, come up with a meeting place like your local Starbucks then exchange your clothes for cash. Easy.

If you want to ship your clothes instead, that’s also an option with Facebook Marketplace. Before you look ahead this far, start by navigating to the marketplace, snapping some pics of your clothes and creating your listing. This is a good place to sell more than clothes too, including furniture, appliances, home decor, linens, and more.

3. Mercari

Mercari is a really fun app and one of my favorite apps to sell clothes.

Two winters ago I sold my Guess peacoat in a few days using Mercari.

The app provides it app. You can take pictures, post your stuff, price your items then sell. When the sale happens you’ll get a shipping label you can print and use to ship your goods to the buyer. The whole process is really fast.

4. Poshmark

Poshmark is a must go-to for selling your clothes.

This app can be downloaded to your device, then similar to Mercari, just take some pics of your clothes, create a listing or multiple listings, price it, and wait for a sale to happen.

When your clothes sell just print the prepaid label they provide and ship at your postal center.
