This company creates a connection between consumers and restaurants.

Consumers want delivery and restaurants want to sell to them but they don’t have delivery drivers. So, Doordash comes in and closes that gap.

My Personal Struggle with Doordash as a consumer

This is all good stuff.

I LOVE Doordash.

And during the pandemic, it’s really been a godsend when I’ve been too paranoid to leave the house and I’m sure it’s super helpful to people and families that have fallen ill from Covid-19.

I have spent so much money on the app, it’s ridiculous.

I really value what the drivers do and I appreciate them running this errand for me, going to restaurants and picking up my takeout food.

Being a driver can be a rewarding, fruitful and lucrative job. Work when you want, make good money, work from your car in casual dress, listening to your favorite radio stations or podcasts, and you can do this part-time or full-time!

Win-win!

Doordash drivers earn a percentage of the delivery fee. The amount varies depending on location and other factors.

According to this article, around $2 to $10 per delivery is what drivers can expect to make.

So, if you take the average, $6 per order at 10 orders per day, 5 days a week, your monthly income looks like this:

$6/order x 10 orders/day = $60/day

$60/day X 5 days/week = $300/week

$300/week X 4 weeks/month = $1,200/month

You’ll find mixed reviews of how much drivers can make. It differs based on so many factors like weekdays vs. weekends, peak times, holidays, special promotions, etc.

You can imagine that during the start and height of the pandemic that there was a lot of demand and drivers were making a lot.

Chime

Looking for an online bank? Today, there are so many available, it’s tough to pick one.

I joined Chime within the last 6 months and I absolutely love them!

They send me daily balance notifications, alert me when a charge is declined, they have savings accounts and much more. I love their overdraft protection feature and it’s easier than ever to transfer money to friends and family.

Their apps is one of the most streamlined, easy-to-use online banking apps I’ve encountered.

I found them through a discussion in a Facebook group I was spying on. It was a business group and the discussion was about how the girls in the group used Chime for their business banking for their sole proprietorship and it’s helped them separate business and personal expenses.

It’s a great use for that and also perfect for your personal banking.
