If you are wondering what to buy after Christmas, this is for you! Did you know that the after-Christmas sales are most of the time, way better than Black Friday deals? It’s true and I’ve noticed this many Christmas seasons.

Your best bet is to start shopping the day after Christmas, or boxing day and the immediate week after Christmas.

I just filled up my Old Navy cart and bought the same gender-neutral sweatsuits which I got for $40 ($20 sweatshirt and $20 sweatpants) for 50% off, for a total of $20 instead of $40 per set.

You’ll find deals on all kinds of electronics, toys, winter wear and more.

Here are some of the things you should be buying after Christmas…

1. Electronics

  • Laptops
  • Tablets

Those Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals you saw on your favorite electronics are back and at an amazing price. Computers and tablets are just a few examples.

Other things like foot and hand massagers, self-care electronics like heated or massaging gloves or other gadgets you can likely snag a deal on too!

2. Small appliances

  • Air fryers
  • Instant pots
  • Toasters
  • Microwaves

Large appliances are at a great deal right after the holidays too. A lot of on display large appliances like stoves and refrigerators are at a greatly reduced price.

Visit places like Lowes or Best Buy to check out deals. The benefit of getting a floor model appliance is the huge discount you get plus, you can drive it away that day, rather than experience the large shipping delays that are happening around the country.

3. Clothes

  • Jackets
  • Scarves
  • Hats

As I mentioned, I just scooped up some incredible deals at Old Navy last night. My cart was over $350 and got it down to $130 including shipping.

I didn’t have to add any coupons, the sale was just that good. Where I live it doesn’t get winter cold until January or February so I stock up on Winter wear after Christmas usually. And it’s a good time to grab those things because clothing almost everywhere is experiencing a steep discount.

4. Designer goods

  • Handbags
  • Shoes
  • Leather goods
  • Luggage

Designer leather goods and luggage, shoes and handbags are just some examples of the luxury goods on sale after Christmas. Think sunglasses, glasses, jewelry and more.

5. Christmas decor

  • Wrapping paper
  • Christmas home decor
  • Wreaths
  • Christmas trees

All this holiday decor and more. If you like to decorate for the holidays, it’s a great time to stock up. I went to Kroger, a local grocery store in my area the day after Christmas and candy was 50% off!

6. Home decor

  • Standing floor lamps
  • Seasonal decor
  • Rugs
  • Woven baskets
  • Wall decor

You might be surprised to find home goods on sale. Go to retailers like Home Goods, Hobby Lobby and others to get the deals being offered on home decor items right now.

7. Fitness

  • Stationary bikes
  • Treadmills
  • Weight lifting equipment

Think floor models, just like the appliances hack mentioned above.Brands like NordicTrack you can get a good discount and floor models mean you can drive home with the item rather than waiting on long shipping times.

BONUS: Toys

  • Backyard playsets
  • Board games
  • Legos

Plan ahead and scope out the awesome deals on toys at Target, Walmart and other stores that sell toys

What to buy after Christmas | What stores to visit

Department stores, general stores, really any kind of store, even online stores are great for getting your after Christmas sale.

  • Target
